Once you join take advantage of any free personal trainer session. Set your goals before you start and let the trainer know what they are. The trainer can create a workout program to get you started in the right direction.

Create a schedule that works with you to use your gym membership. Morning before work or evenings after work. Set the amount of time you have available. Have your Gym Bag ready to go. This will help keep you on track to meet the goals you have set for yourself.

It is always more fun with a friend. Set up to meet with a friend, spouse, family member or coworker. Just knowing someone will meet you at the gym will keep you from looking for an excuse to skip out.
